Swedish Massage. The term Swedish massage refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart. The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes. It increases circulation, stretches the ligaments and tendons (keeping them supple and pliable), stimulates the skin and nervous system, reduces stress (both emotional and physical) and is suggested in a regular program for stress management and relaxation. 

Intuitive Massage is a form of massage that allows the therapist to follow their intuition, as to where the clients mind, body and spirit need to be harmonized and balanced.  The therapist may integrate a variety of modalities that create the greatest avenue of healing.  Essentially, allowing the spirit to lead and the body and soul to follow. 

Esalen Massage. Esalen is set apart as a unique style because it reflects an attitude about touching, caring, energy awareness and emotional, spiritual healing besides the physical manipulation.  Esalen is signified by long flowing strokes.  Often one stroke goes all the way from the head to the toes giving the body a deeper sense of relaxation and peacefulness. The attitude of Esalen is that touching is a basic need, as essential as air, food or water; that caring about others is natural; that getting in touch with one's own body leads to a more effective way of loving and relating to others, and that healing comes from within as well as from outside.

Shamanistic Massage. This massage integrates essential oils, crystals, feathers, drums, rattles - any tool that can connect with mother earth and the elements of air, fire, earth and water to bring about healing in a very nurturing and loving way!!

Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST)

CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral area - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its' ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:

Reflexology therapy, (an ancient art practiced by early Egyptians), is also a science founded on the basis that areas of the feet, hands and ears are comprised of zones and reflex areas that correspond to all glands, organs, and bodily systems. Reflexology therapy is a technique whereby pressure is applied to these areas resulting in stress reduction by using thumb, finger and hand methods. Using reflexology therapy promotes physiological improvements in the body.

Reflexology therapy restores natural balance and revitalization. Not intended to cure diseases, reflexology therapy is valuable in locating high stress or tension areas in the body. Therefore, reflexology therapy can be utilized in encouraging natural healing.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace and security.

Chan-Ri

A technique that incorporates the use of the pendulum, aura/chakra clearing and balancing, tarot or soul cards, plus channeled messages and images as well as hands on body work such as Cranio Sacral therapy and or Reiki.  It is a service that provides the clearing of emotional pain from your body through the use of dialog.  It helps rejuvenate your soul and brings balance to your life by clearing obstacles that may be blocking your life purpose.

Past Life Regression (PLR)

By discovering the underlying cause of trauma which carries over into the present life, PLR can be used to resolve a whole range of emotional, psychological or psychosomatic problems.  And because our life mission becomes more apparent, PLR can also be used for spiritual revitalization. In our sessions we use a light hypnosis trance to regress clients into their past lives.  Most PLR experiences contain some historical details.  Occasionally subjects become aware of names, dates and places that can be checked.This is a very enlightening experience that is helpful in understanding current life problems, especially relationship concerns and phobias.

Body Somatic Therapy

Body Somatic Therapy works directly with the cause of structural body problems through releasing congested, constricted muscles and fascia.  It is about restructuring, re-aligning and reeducation of our bodies in order to bring about healing and wholeness.  Body Somatic Therapy frees constrictions from the body, removes pain and restores natural movement and balance.  Body Somatic Therapy is multifaceted; composed of spiritual, emotional and physical aspects that must be recognized and appropriately balanced.
